The financial and investment operations of the Southern Illinois Research Park are under the authority of the Board of Directors. Investment decisions are made by the Board’s Finance and Construction Committee. Southern Illinois Research Park takes great care in handling the investment funds of this corporation. Old National Bank of Carbondale, Illinois is an approved depository institution doing business with Southern Illinois Research Park, Inc.

The Southern Illinois Research Park’s financial statements are audited annually by an independent audit firm in accordance with auditing standards generally accepted in the United States of America and the standards applicable to financial audits contained in Government Auditing Standards, issued by the Comptroller General of the United States. The independent auditors report directly to the State of Illinois Auditor General.
